A little bit about us…

We’ll get our excuses in early… the internet isn’t really our thing. Over the last few years the more people we’ve discussed our plans with the more people have said they would like to follow our progress and stay in touch. We hadn’t really considered this properly to begin with, but it’s helped us to appreciate even more the friends we have, those we have already met along the way and it’s led us to this moment (the ironic moment of wanting wilderness and spending your time at a laptop creating this website). So, along with a few posts on instagram this space will be an attempt at us trying to document our journey.

We don’t want to talk too much on the past, not because of anything negative, but just because we are forward looking and worry the story might be a little clichéd. In summary, we realised over time that we couldn’t be truly fulfilled working behind a desk and that we needed something more, so we hatched a plan to focus on doing what we love. We’ve qualified as Mountain Leaders and Wilderness First Responders and aim to continue on this path by gaining further experience, qualifications and hopefully making a little money by helping others to spend time out in the wild.

Over the next few years we’ll be training as International Mountain Leaders, walking the Pacific Crest Trail and adventuring in Patagonia and beyond. If you’d like to see how we get on or if you’d like to join us along the way (seriously) by all means follow us here or do get in touch via instagram or email using the links at the bottom of this page.

Finally a disclaimer: we are learning :) We’re not your classic adventurers, we haven’t really spent much or any time in the wilderness (yet) and we certainly don’t know how to capture all of this online. If you’re after Bear Grylls this is not the place; we won’t be eating live snakes. If you want to see how normal people try to change their lives then some of that will be captured here.
